2011 Expanding Learning Time Convening

Join the National Center on Time & Learning and the Harvard Graduate School of Education for an extraordinary gathering on the power of expanded learning time to prepare students for college and career success. This unique convening of education leaders—including superintendents, chief academic officers, school board members, charter school leaders, policymakers and funders—will explore the benefits of expanded learning time and discuss how more time, when used well, can lead to increased student achievement and a well-rounded education. The 2011 Expanding Learning Time Convening will feature both education visionaries and school practitioners. Whether you are focused on implementing the Common Core, STEM subjects, or how to offer students a broader, more engaging curriculum, you will learn about successful models where expanded school time accelerates these reforms.
